We’re a family-owned business based on the Gold Coast, with Matt leading the work on-site and Lizzie handling the office. Together, we bring a warm, personal touch to every project. Supporting us is a trusted team of tradies, including Bryce from Voltelex for electrical work, Andrew from Plumbmate for plumbing, and Axl from Axe Carpentry. We’re all united by a shared commitment to quality and customer care.
Kingfisher Renovations is more than just a business to us—it’s a reflection of our family’s values and legacy. The kingfisher, our symbol, holds a special place in our hearts. It’s a tribute to Matt’s late father, Chris, who passed away in 1995. While working in India as a coal miner, Chris often saw a kingfisher near his site, and this beautiful bird became a cherished family emblem.
In October 2023, a sacred Kingfisher visited our family home, staying for a few days and returning the following year with friends. We like to think these visits are little reminders that we’re on the right path, doing something meaningful.
